Generally speaking there is many differences between the style of learning and teaching in the UK and Saudi Arabia.
The main different is the students here from different countries and the lonely language we can speak English so good chance to practice more. The other good chance is to study in the university. I learned more about plagiarism and copyright, also how to improve my Internet search skills, which is can help me more to succeed in the university. the good, the bad, and ugly for Internet research. ask question ( who, what, where ) in the main time compare the information which I collected from the Internet with another source.

Understanding plagiarism and referencing

first of all i will use the different definition from what i understand from our book and from the tutors lesson.
plagiarism is: to use another person ideas,work or words with out any referencing to that whose originally owned the rights. the best solution to use ideas or words either with quotation "marks" if the same words, also by paraphrasing with changing the word synonyms, or summary of a writer's ideas. all of the above must mentioned the writer name and date.

Overview of my subject area

Firstly, my study subject is International Economics & Finance.
This subject is very important especially now days when the "Credit Crunch" hit allover the world. It will be challenging for me. I will learn allot of skills that relay i need to improve my self and to achieve my target in the future with a good career opportunities about Economic Growth, Credit Cards, Capital, Share Market, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Monetary System, Monopoly, Mortgage, Bank Products and Principles of Economics.
